The Sincil Bank battle has left the squad a little battered and brusied; well it certainly made Dave Moore a little busier, see;;

Sam Hatton was deployed as emergency centre half when Shaun Pearson went off on Boxing Day, and defence is the big concern currently. Will Clayton McDonald return from illness? Will Pearson be back? Can Chris Doig manage 3 games in a week? Will Hurst have to try Hatton or Paul Bignot at centre half? The squad will be more stretched over this big week.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say that all of Pearson, McDonald, and the centre mid pair of Scott Kerr and Craig Disley will feature today. If they don't, it will give an opportunity to Doig, McLaughlin, maybe Andi Thanoj, a bit of a forgotten man in the recent run, with youngsters such as Paul Walker and Caine Winfarrah increasingly likely to bench-warm too.
Elsewhere at the top, Luton beating Barnet and Nuneaton drawing with Tamworth means that Kidderminster returned to the playoff places on Boxing Day. Some of the top sides play each other today; so let's hope that Cambridge slip up at Nuneaton, and that Kidderminster beat Luton, although it is so close at the top that maybe we should hope for draws in both games!
