Leaders Cambridge travel to Hereford, and all Town fans will be hoping for a home win as that would mean we'd be 8 points behind but with a game in hand. Luton host Gateshead, with the visitors amongst the chasing pack which also includes Alfreton; they host second bottom Dartford and a win might see them into the playoff places. That depends on 5th place Nuneaton's result at home to Woking.
If both Nuneaton and Alfreton win, or draw and win respectively, then Kiddy's Christmas position will be a little depressing for them, as they would slip out of the play-off places! Shows how tight things are though; similar thing would have happened to us had we lost on Thursday.
I've forgotten Barnet and Braintree incidentally; both in the hunt, edge of playoffs etc... Braintree are visited by Macclesfield, and Barnet travel upto the North West, maybe crossing the Macc lot going t'other way, to play Hyde, who somehow have managed no wins and three draws from 21 games. Crikey. Spare a thought for Hyde fans at Christmas.... ;-)
We're very close to the halfway point in terms of games played, and I'm sure we'll discuss that at some point before the year is out.
