The team are on a great unbeaten run and the effort and determination are shining through. Congratulations must go to Paul Hurst and his back room staff for developing a great team spirit which is so evident. Although in a good position there are no guarantees as to what the outcome will be, but thus far the signs are encouraging.
Fine margins will ultimately decide the promotion positions and therefore The Mariners Trust calls on all it's members to do whatever they can to try and help the club achieve promotion back to the Football League at the end of the current season. This may be by attending a few extra games , although many of you already attend every home game. If that is the case then maybe you can persuade a friend, a relative, or colleague to come to Blundell Park and give the players that extra lift that could be the difference between one point and three. Equally perhaps you cam raise a few pounds by selling tickets for our forthcoming Grand FA Cup draw. Everything helps. In isolation it may be small fry but collectively the supporters through the Trust can make a real difference.
On a similar vein the Trust would ask everyone who wants to see the club back in the league to join us in supporting the club, helping us to assist financially whilst having a real say in the way the club is run. Please join the Trust, we have made huge strides in the last couple of years but see the election of two Mariners Trust representatives to the clubs board of Directors as a start and certainly not the culmination of our journey. By working together the fans and the club can move forward.
The 'together' message is a strong one. We want everyone with an interest in GTFC to join the Mariners Trust and help us get this club, not just back into the Football League but up a division or two once we do return. Why wouldn't you join? Surely everyone pulling together will improve our chances of success? Do you know someone who has been thinking of joining but hasn't done so? If so give them a nudge. The time to join is now, especially with a potential ground move on the horizon

Finally on behalf of the Mariners Trust board I would like to wish everyone connected with GTFC a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Successful 2014.
